Whether you want a delicious snack or you invited your friends to have a pleasant evening over a glass of wine, this is the perfect recipe. And because of the parmigiano, smells like Italy!
So, for this recipe you will need:
- 200gr flour;
- 80gr parmigiano regiano;
- 100gr butter;
- 2 egg yolks;
- 4tbs milk;
- 3tbs poppy seeds;
- salt – to taste (I like them a little salty).
First, you need to grate the Parmesan cheese. Then mix the flour with the grated parmigiano and continue adding the poppy seeds.
Cut the butter into pieces (it has to be cold), add it to the mixture. Give a good stir and continue adding the milk, the egg yolks and the salt.
Mix together until you have an elastic dough. Wrap in a plastic film and put it to rest in the refrigerator for one hour.
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Split he dough into half, and put one part back to the refrigerator.
With a rolling pin stretch the dough to a 5 mm sheet. Cut the dough any way you want. I picked a star shaped form…
Place a baking sheet on an oven tray, them put the biscuits in, and sprinkle parmigiano on top.
Bake until they reach a golden-brown color.

That’s all. Pretty simple, isn’t it!?
